Jun. 1st, 2026 05:31 pmQuentin Quire, aka Kid Omega, is an Omega level mutant, with some of the most powerful psychic powers on the planet. He is almost stupidly overpowered, but it's more than possible to kick his ass because he's an utter shithead.
The misuse of ANY of these powers will result in the CORD fucking his shit up. Badly. He's not going to like it very much.
A full canonical breakdown of Q's powers can be found here but the gist of it all is:
TELEPATHY: Quentin reads minds easily and indeed casually. This ranges from a brief surface skim to a more intentional look into thoughts and memories.
MIND CONTROL/MANIPULATION: Quentin is capable of controlling the minds of others assuming they are within his physical presence. He has the ability to influence multiple people, allowing him to manipulate their perceptions, better judgment, wills, and common sense. He can induce physical and mental paralysis, and erase or alter memories.
TELEKINESIS: He can move and manipulate objects and others at will. This is how he is able to fly, create force fields for himself and others, and generate concussive force blasts.
PSYCHIC CONSTRUCTS & WEAPONS: Quentin learned to tap into, manipulate, and channel his vast near-limitless psychic energies as astral energy weapons which manifest the focused totality of his telepathic powers. These weapons do not cause any external effects but instead deals direct mental damage leading to intense pain, unconsciousness, and possibly death.
ASTRAL PROJECTION: He can project his astral form from his body onto astral planes or the physical planes. In the physical plane he can only travel in astral form over short distances. In the astral plane, he can mentally create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of his environment.
PSYCHIC SHIELDING/CLOAKING: He is able to create near-indestructible defenses in his mind and the minds of others against psychic phenomenon, mental attacks, and telepathic intrusions. Can mask his presence from being detected by others.
